I have debated the notion in my mind of whether I should buy Barbie dolls for my hypothetical daughter or for any of my friends' daughters. The reason why I don't want to is because I feel like Barbie promotes an unrealistic view of what a woman should look like and because I feel like the doll promotes a materialistic mindset.
But THIS......this is where I draw the line.
