"The Announcement" (Trailer)

Growing up as a little kid, Magic Johnson was my favorite basketball player. I know it's blasphemy that a New York Knicks fan would love a basketball player wearing Los Angeles' purple and gold. Magic transcended that. It wasn't just the fact that he was great nor was it the fact that he was flashy....it was the smile on his face that assured me that he was actually having fun out there. He played basketball the way it should be played....the way we all should approach life...with love and unselfishness. The day of The Announcement was one of the most depressing days of my life. Looking back, its pretty silly but every kid has an idol and he was mine. This is the trailer for the documentary that will be on ESPN on Sunday night at 9 pm chronicling the events around The Announcement.
